Can't Check In Content Via the Managed Attachments Screen

When checking in new content to UCM via the Managed Attachments browser an error is returned. The error reads: 

Content Server Request Failed Content item '000078' was not successfully checked in. The content type 'EBSProfile' is not defined in the system.
