No Effect When Using Disable-Output-Escaping In XSLT To Retain An Empty Element Or An Element WIth A Single Space As Vlaue.

You have a BPEL process which consist of a XSLT transformation which in turn contains the code similar to below:
<xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"> </xsl:text>
The expected result / output would be:
Instead you get:
Which is still a valid XML, but not the expected result as per XSLT coding.
