(Doc ID 1255404.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 07, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle GlassFish Server - Version 2.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
The synchronization mechanism used with the Application Server uses a JMX Service on the Domain Administration Server (DAS). By default there is a 5 second time limit imposed on the creation of a JMX connection to the the DAS JMX Service. Therefore, if it takes longer than 5 seconds to successfully make that connection, then the synchronization of an instance can fail.
This guide details the steps necessary to increase the default 5 seconds to a higher value, or even disable the timeout.
