Log *.out File Being Locked By Other Java Processes In Same Domain On Same Box

On a single Windows 64-bit box with multiple domains (and multiple JVMs), after stopping only one of the domains, the restart failed because the log*.out file is referenced by a file handled by another java process on the machine, possibly from the same domain, or possibly from one or more of the other domains installed on that box.
The error logged is :
For example, when the Node Manager starts up multiple servers at the same time, a managed server may hold a file handle locked for a different managed server.
This causes the node manager not to be able to restart that instance, generally needing all the servers in the cluster to be shutdown to release the wrong lock.
