Symptoms

  • After restoring an Oracle Identity Management,  or Infrastructure installation from file system backup, HTTP Server and Oracle Internet Directory (OID) seem to start successfully but OC4J_SECURITY fails to start. Also any DCM (dcmctl) operations fail with the following error:

The Identity Management installation files were restored from backup.
