This document describes the configuration steps that enable login forms to be bookmarked by users when accessing resources protected by Oracle Access Manager 10g (OAM 10.1.4)

The usual flow when users access a resource that is protected by OAM with a login form is:

1 user attempts to access the resource (eg by typing its address in the browser's address bar)
2 OAM intercepts the request and redirects the user to the login form
3 the user enters credentials, and on successful authentication is redirected to the resource that was originally requested.

However, users may choose to add the login form to the browser's bookmarks (or favorites). When they do this, using the saved bookmark in a subsequent browser session will display the login form, but on entering credentials users will be left in limbo, because they are not in the flow described above.
