Symptoms


Table with NVARCHAR/NCHAR columns cannot be retrieved from foreign databases using JDBC and Oracle Gateway.

Using the JDBC 11.1.X thin driver results in:
Exception: Bigger type length than Maximum

Using the JDBC 11.2.X thin driver results in:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
