Goal
A metadata search is returning unexpected results. It could be 0 results are returned or items are returned that don't have the specific metadata value that was searched for.
The reason is that the metadata field contains a value that is an Oracle Stopword. Stopwords are words for which Oracle Text does not create an index entry, or token. Common words such as A, About, All, Both, Can, Cannot, Different, Either, Even are stopwords.
There are several ways to workaround searching for Stopwords, this How To will cover one method to accomplish it.
