Symptoms


When using TopLink grid 11.1.1.3.0 with entities that contains One to Many relationships, querying from the grid results in an exception similar to the following:

Exception Description: Trying to get value for instance variable [id] of type
[examples.address.id] from the object [java.util.Hashtable$Entry]. The specified object is not an instance of the class or interface declaring the
underlying field.
Internal Exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Can not set examples.address.id field <package>.id to java.util.Hashtable$Entry
