WebCenter Content: Imaging (formerly Oracle Imaging and Process Management J2EE) Login Screen Is Not Displaying Correctly (Doc ID 1267976.1)

Last updated on APRIL 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content: Imaging - Version 11.1.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Imaging login page and/or or other Imaging pages have an unexpected or corrupted appearance in a web browser. This may include incorrect layouts, colors, fonts, missing images, unusually-placed scroll bars, etc.

Such display irregularities may be exacerbated or even temporarily improved by resizing the browser window. They may also appear in one type of web browser but not another. For example, the Imaging login page may look fine in FireFox but not in Internet Explorer.

Additionally, the IPM_server*.log* files may have one or more "java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException" errors shortly after the server has logged RUNNING mode. For example:

<Notice> <WebLogicServer> <redacted> <IPM_server1> <main> <> <redacted> <BEA-000360> <Server started in RUNNING mode>

<Error> <HTTP> <redacted> <IPM_server1> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <> <> <redacted> <BEA-101020> <[ServletContext@1164984671[app:imaging module:imaging path:/imaging spec-version:2.5]] Servlet failed with Exception
