Symptoms

You have developed an application using a service oriented architecture where BPEL services are exposed via Oracle Enterprise Service Bus and accessed as references by other BPEL processes executing running under Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.x).

BPEL process used within your SOA based application were developed by either:

Once you update your 10.1.3.4.x release to 10.1.3.4.10 or 10.1.3.5.x release to version 10.1.3.5.2, deployed BPEL processes fail to initialize at startup and previously developed BPEL process fail to deploy with errors similar to the following:

BPEL source validation failed, the errors are:
[Error ORABPEL-10000]: unresolved partnerLinkType
[Description]: in line 69 of "/uo1/soa1013/ORAHOME1/bpel/domains/test/tmp/.bpel_MY_BPEL_PROCESS_1.0_7bebbc0de299ab4a9faf962ff954b3bc.tmp/MY_BPEL_PROCESS.bpel",
partnerLinkType "{http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/db/dbAdapterTest_db/concrete}dbAdapterTest_db_pttLT" of partnerLink "dbAdapterTest_pl" is not defined.
[Potential fix]: make sure partnerLinkType "{http://xmlns.oracle.com/pcbpel/adapter/db/dbAdapterTest_db/concrete}dbAdapterTest_db_pttLT" is defined in either the process WSDL file or the WSDL file that is referenced by the propertySet "dbAdapterTest_pl" in the deployment descriptor.
