Webcenter Spaces User Account not Showing Up As Wiki Users Until Login

Goal
Have WebCenter Spaces 11g (11.1.1.2) installed using OID as an LDAP repository for user accounts. When attempting to set up users for Wiki access, existing OID users do not show up in the list of users on the Wiki Administration -> User management page. If a new user is created from the Wiki admin page that user cannot authenticate because they are not in OID. Users already in OID as Spaces users can login to the Wiki and once they do the account shows up as a Wiki account.
Is it possible to synchronize Spaces users to show up as Wiki users, to grant Wiki specific roles to them?
