Symptoms

The Oracle Access Manager (OAM) Deployment Guide 10g (10.1.4.3) Chapter 4 Failover and Load Balancing has references to the obencrypt tool to create the encrypted password for the LDAP Bind DN.

e.g.

To create the encrypted password for the bind DN

1. Locate the obencrypt tool in: AccessServer_install_dir/access/oblix/tools/ldap_tools/

2. Run obencrypt password.

3. Copy and paste the encrypted password into your failover file, as described in "To create failover.xml".

However the obencrypt tool does not exist in directory AccessServer_install_dir/access/oblix/tools/ldap_tools.
