Symptoms

After upgrading your 11.1.1.2.0 SOA environment to 11.1.1.3.0, SOAP Faults from partnerlinks in your BPEL Process are returning a faultsummary tag with an oracle.fabric.common.FabricInvocationException.

For example:

<env:Envelope xmlns:env="http//schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
<env:Header/>
<env:Body>
<env:Fault>
<faultcode>env:Server</faultcode>
<faultstring>oracle.fabric.common.FabricInvocationException</faultstring>
<faultactor/>
<detail>
<exception>null</exception>
</detail>
</env:Fault>
</env:Body>
</env:Envelope>

Changes

The issue occurs after an upgrade of your 11.1.1.2.0 SOA Suite installation to 11.1.1.3.0
