The same HL7 (outbound) message is sent repeatedly (Doc ID 1271574.1)

Symptoms

The external system reports that the same HL7 message is being received multiple times.  The number of times will depend on the configuration of the HL7 eWay.

In the server.log, SEVERE errors "Sequence number is not present in the MSH segment in the ACK received" are logged for the HL7 eWay.   For example:
