Black Lines After Reprojection Of Georaster Data Via Wms In Oracle Mapviewer (Doc ID 1272931.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle 9iAS MapViewer - Version: 11.1.1.1 and later   [Release: and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Summary:

The transformation of vector graphic (SDO_GEOMETRY) works fine, but the raster images show black lines in the edges.

Example of the a reprojection:

Visualization in a rotated display view based on the German Gauss-Krueger coordinate system (SRID 31467).

To set the rotated view a special coordinate system is defined on base SRID 31467

Working with two rotated views:
1. SRID 31467001: 53.45 degree
2. SRID 31467002: 105.07 degree

To minimize the workflow for the data storage and the storage itself at the database, the data is saved in their original coordinate system (31467) and transform the data on the fly in Oracle MapViewer. Therefore, the MapTileLayer is defined in the original and rotated coordinate systems as WMS theme.

The transformation of vector graphic (SDO_GEOMETRY) works fine, but the raster images show black lines in the edges.
