Purpose

The WebCenter Spaces Catalog has a default container/folder called "Portlets".
When registering Portlet Producers in WebCenter Spaces the Producers are automatically added to the default "Portlets" folder.

This document explains how customize the default Catalog to organize your Portlet Producers in different Folders.

It follows the method described in the following:

Extending WebCenter Spaces (11.1.1.2.0 and 11.1.1.3.0)


Assumptions

This document assumes the following:

• You installed WebCenter domain with the WLS_Portlet managed server.
  
  
• You already downloaded the Supporting Files for Extending WebCenter Spaces from here:  Oracle WebCenter
  
  
• You already configured the config.properties file of the Customizable WebCenter Spaces Workspace to deploy the WebCenter Spaces customization to your WebCenter domain.
  
  
• You already have registered some Producers with WebCenter Spaces.
  For this example we will use the following Producers:
  
  wc-OmniPortlet
  wc-WebClipping
