WebLogic Server Logs are Created with Different Permissions than the "umask" Setting (Doc ID 1274444.1)

Symptoms

WebLogic Server (WLS 10.3.3+) does not adhere to the system file permissions. The umask for the account is set as:

Log files that are created by WebLogic Node Manager have the desired permission bits set. However, the server log files are have read access only to the user who started the node manager process. The permissions are set as (-rw-r-----).
