Goal
What is required in order to use Microsoft Access 2000 database with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), on a 64-bit Windows Operating System?
When ODI runs on 32-bit Operating System, with a 32-bit JVM, there are no issues.
But the following message is signaled when ODI is installed on a 64-bit Operating System and the connection to the Data Server from Topology Manager > Physical Architecture is tested :
How can the above be resolved?
Knowing that ODI does not provide any JDBC or ODBC driver to access Microsoft Access 2000 database, and the native Sun JDBC-ODBC bridge is used for that, the questions become:
- Is there any 64-bit Microsoft Access 2000 ODBC driver available?
- Is the Oracle Sun JDBC-ODBC bridge compatible with a 64-bit Operating System and/or JVM?
