Oracle Text Search Indexing Fails with Error: Number of SDATA section exceeds limit(32) (Doc ID 1276614.1)

Symptoms

In the Text Search Admin page, while adding new fields to the list of optimized fields and then rebuilding the index, the indexer gives an error that the maximum number of allowed SDATA fields has been exceeded:

Indexing aborted error

Indexing aborted. Unable to delete collection directories. Cannot create table or index 'IdcText2' Number of SDATA section exceeds limit(32). [ Details ] :832)
