Adding a Server to Deploy Only the OIM Scheduler

Suppose one has built an OIM system using either a true cluster with multiple servers or a group of independent servers pointing to the same database. The typical initial arrangement is to have all web clients interact with one server on which the scheduler is disabled by setting the StartOnDeployment attribute to false in the xlconfig.xml file creating what is called a "front office" server. Then a second server is installed against the same database and the scheduler is left running so that scheduled tasks do not interfere with the user interface performance creating what is called a "back office" server.
