Symptoms

ALSB_HOME is not set when installing/starting OSB as a Windows Service

Create an OSB domain.
Install a windows service using the installSvc.cmd.
When starting the domain using the windows service the domain starts, however the following error is displayed in the logs:
ALSB_HOME has not been set. 
If the domain is started via the startWeblogic.cmd, the does not occur.
