When attempting to set up a shared Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio version 11g configuration on a Microsoft Windows server, the directory to insert the ODI configuration files is by default the Windows %APPDATA% folder (C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data).
Is there a way to change this directory in order to be able to allow each user to posses his own profile and his own set of ODI configurations?
Note this does not apply to ODI 12c Studio.
According to the following Oracle documentation:
Installing and Configuring Oracle Data Integrator
> 5 Configuring Oracle Data Integrator Studio
> Starting ODI Studio
available at: https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/lifecycle/188.8.131.52/oding/toc.htm
On Windows operating systems only the user who installed ODI can start ODI Studio. No other user has privileges to start ODI Studio.
