Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Configuration:

Tuxedo Version 10.3.0.0, 32-bit, Patch Level 024
Oracle SALT, Version 10.3.0.0, 32-bit, Patch Level 005

Problem:

Customer is getting "GWWS_CAT:1022: SOAP Error: Invalid SOAP Body" when submitting an unformatted XML file. The XML file when opened in Textpad is one single line without any line breaks. The same XML is working fine if it properly formatted in SOAP UI with line breaks at each line.

The error received is:

124721.boxname!GWWS.2527352.1291.0: TRACE:ms:Sending SOAP Message: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><SOAP-ENV:Body><SOAP-ENV:Fault><faultcode>SOAP-ENV:Client</faultcode>
<faultstring>GWWS_CAT:1022: SOAP Error: Invalid SOAP Body.</faultstring></SOAP-ENV:Fault></SOAP-ENV:Body></SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
