When WSRP Consumer Side URL Rewritten is Used WLP Fails To Proxy Compressed Contents (Doc ID 1281462.1)

Symptoms

If the compressed content is transformed in WebLogic Portal using WSRP Consumer URL rewriting option, then the WSRP Consumer returns a 404 Http error.

This could cause the following error message in the server log files:

java.lang.IllegalStateException: Response already committed
at weblogic.servlet.internal.ServletResponseImpl.objectIfCommitted(ServletResponseImpl.java:1591)
at weblogic.servlet.internal.ServletResponseImpl.sendError(ServletResponseImpl.java:614)
at com.bea.netuix.servlets.manager.AbstractResourceProxyServlet.sendError(AbstractResourceProxyServlet.java:269)
