When WSRP Consumer Side URL Rewritten is Used WLP Fails To Proxy Compressed Contents (Doc ID 1281462.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 14, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Portal - Version 10.3.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If the compressed content is transformed in WebLogic Portal using WSRP Consumer URL rewriting option, then the WSRP Consumer returns a 404 Http error.

This could cause the following error message in the server log files:

java.lang.IllegalStateException: Response already committed
at weblogic.servlet.internal.ServletResponseImpl.objectIfCommitted(ServletResponseImpl.java:1591)
at weblogic.servlet.internal.ServletResponseImpl.sendError(ServletResponseImpl.java:614)
at com.bea.netuix.servlets.manager.AbstractResourceProxyServlet.sendError(AbstractResourceProxyServlet.java:269)
.........

For instance, this issue prevents using ASP.NET 3.5 AJAX functionality from the Application Accelerator for .NET WSRP Producer, as ASP.NET 3.5 AJAX script files are sent as scriptresource.axd files.
