Extend Proxy Server Showing Error java.nio.channels.IllegalBlockingModeException (Doc ID 1284034.1)

Symptoms

After enabling SSL for communication between Extend client and Extend Proxy server using Coherence 3.6.0, the following error appears in the log of the Extend Proxy Server, which causes the service to be restarted.
