Reports 11g De-associating OID shows [LDAP: error code 49 - Invalid Credentials]

Oracle Reports was associated with OID successfully. Now, the OID instance is no longer available. Trying to de-associate it using EM Website, displays errors and OID cannot be deasocciated.
Using the steps from the manual:
"15.9 Configuring External Oracle Internet Directory and Reassociating Reports" => "15.9.2 Reassociating Reports with Oracle Internet Directory"
1.Log in to EM website and navigate to Applications Deployments > Reports > <reports_server_name>
2. Under Reports menu Navigate to Administration > Reports OID Association
The Reports OID Association Details Page is displayed. Try to de-associate OID and the following error is displayed:
javax.naming.AuthenticationException: [LDAP: error code 49 - Invalid Credentials]
