Overview
The Lifetime Support Policy and Error Correction Support Policy documents provide Oracle's position regarding the support of Oracle Fusion Middleware products. With these documents an administrator can plan maintenance activities based on the dates and guidelines provided. Each product has an End of Premier Support, where it will be required to upgrade to a newer release in order to obtain Error Correction Support.
The following document provides the End of Premier Support for all Oracle Fusion Middleware releases where special attention should be taken for version 10.1.2.x and 10.1.4.x releases, (including the terminal releases of 10.1.2.3 and 10.1.4.3):

Whats Important
- According to the Lifetime Support Policy, the End of Premier Support is December 31, 2011 for Oracle Application Server 10g (10.1.2) and Identity Management 10g (10.1.4) releases impacting the following products:
- Oracle Application Server 10g (10.1.2) includes: BPEL, InterConnect, B2B, Business Activity Monitoring, Discoverer, Reports, Forms, Oracle Portal 10.1.2 and 10.1.4, Internet Directory, Single Sign-On, Certificate Authority, Containers for J2EE, HTTP Server, Web Cache, Wireless and Developer Suite (Designer, Forms Builder, Reports Builder & Discoverer Administrator)
- Identity Management 10g (10.1.4) includes: Internet Directory, Single Sign-On, Virtual Directory, Identity Federation
- Oracle Application Server 10g (10.1.2) includes: BPEL, InterConnect, B2B, Business Activity Monitoring, Discoverer, Reports, Forms, Oracle Portal 10.1.2 and 10.1.4, Internet Directory, Single Sign-On, Certificate Authority, Containers for J2EE, HTTP Server, Web Cache, Wireless and Developer Suite (Designer, Forms Builder, Reports Builder & Discoverer Administrator)
- Only Sustaining Support will be provided after Premier Support ends for Oracle Application Server 10g (10.1.2) and Identity Management 10g (10.1.4) releases. See the Lifetime Support Policy for definitions or any exceptions.
- See the Lifetime Support Policy for restricted use exceptions with Oracle Single Sign-on (10.1.4.x) & Delegated Administration Services (10.1.4.x) working with Oracle Internet Directory 11gR1 for user authentication of Oracle Portal 11gR1 , Forms 11gR1 , Reports11gR1 and Discoverer 11gR1 application users. Customers are advised to migrate to Oracle Access Management 11g as soon as it is certified with their particular product.
- See the Lifetime Support Policy for restricted use exceptions with Oracle Single Sign-on (10.1.4.x) & Delegated Administration Services (10.1.4.x) working with Oracle Internet Directory 11gR1 for user authentication of Oracle Portal 11gR1 , Forms 11gR1 , Reports11gR1 and Discoverer 11gR1 application users. "(g) For customers with current support contracts running Oracle Application Server 10gR2,Oracle Developer Suite 10gR2 or Oracle Single Sign-On 10gR3, Extended Support will be made available for the period of January 2012 - December 2012 at then-current Extended Support fees. During this period, Extended Support will be limited to Severity 1 fixes only; critical patch updates will not be made available."

"(g)For customers with a current support contract for Oracle Single Sign-On 10gR3, Extended Support will be made available until December 2013 at then current Extended Support fees. During this period, Extended Support will be limited to Severity 1 fixes only; critical patch updates will not be made available."

Prepare
Premier Support is ending on December 31, 2011 for Oracle Application Server 10g (10.1.2) and Oracle Identity Management 10g (10.1.4) releases. Customers should consider the following planning steps:
- Review all Oracle Fusion Middleware 10g version 10.1.2 and 10.1.4 environments.
- Plan to upgrade to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g as soon as possible.
- Review Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Documentation.
- Upgrade to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g (11.1.1.x), where x is the latest release.

Upgrade to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g (11.1.1/11.1.2)
Because the End of Premier Support is quickly approaching, it is recommended to upgrade or migrate to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1) before the End of Premier Support in order to continue a level of support desired. After Premier Support period ends, Error Correction Support will no longer be provided for this release.
Note:
Oracle Forms & Reports, and Oracle Identity Access Management (OSSO) customers are encouraged to begin using 11g Release 2 (11.1.2) as soon as possible:
