Goal

Customers wanting to take advantage of the graphical tooling added value of JRockit can encounter a number of issues when attempting to connect the ORACLE JRockit Mission Control (JRMC) Graphical User Interface (GUI) to a running remote JVM.
Common issues encountered with connectivity are reviewed in this note.

 First of all, on the side of the JVM to be inspected
 Then, on the networking side of things:
 Start the connection between JRMC and the remote JVM
 Finally, what are you not able to start: the Console or the MemLeak GUI?
 If still failing, look what the ConnectionException is exactly complaining about...
