SQLAuthenticator Very Slow on WLS 10.3.3

Symptoms
When accessing to the users and groups screen on the administration console for WebLogic, it takes between ten or twenty minutes to retrieve the users information in batches of 10 to 10, sourced by a SQL Authenticator provided on Oracle Database.
Normally when you go to users and groups screen on the administration console the list of user and groups will be retrieved very fast.
This issue causes a very long time waiting for the users mapped on the database, so there might be an eventual issue with the performance.
