(Doc ID 1294154.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 12, 2025
Applies to:
Oracle WebLogic Portal - Version 10.0.0 to 10.3.2Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Consider a scenario in WebLogic Portal where tree optimization is enabled and remote portlets are placed in an inactive page. According to the documentation link any items on an inactive page are not included on the resulting partial control tree, and the respective backing file life cycle methods are not called.
However it is observed that the resulting partial control tree includes the remote portlets that are on inactive page(s) and subsequently invokes the life cycle methods of remote portlet's backing files.
