Using a JMS messaging bridge to connect from a queue in a WLS 10.3.3 domain (source) to a queue in a WLS 9.2.3 domain (target). The bridge is configured in the WLS 10.3.3 domain.
When there is no security configured (allow access to everyone) for either source or target queues, the bridge works fine. However, if a security policy is applied to either the source or the target queue, then the bridge fails to connect to the queue and consequently does not work.
The user specified in the bridge destination is getting correctly authenticated, but then is not being authorized to access the queue. In contrast, if some Java code is used to send a message to the source with the same authentication details, they can see both the authentication and authorization being passed successfully.
