Shell Script to Set OID 11g Debug Level Logging On or Off (Doc ID 1295244.1)

Purpose

This shell script provides a quick way to turn OID debug level logging on or off for OID 11g versions. Enable debugging, reproduce the issue, disable debugging.

A specific debug level can be specified and, optionally, the Operation Debug Dimension, by default heavy trace debugging is enabled. In OID 11g, debugging is set independently for each running OID component.

The script will prompt for the orcladmin super user password, read the OID port configuration from $ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/OPMN/opmn/ports.prop for OID components that are registered with opmn and set the OID debug level according to the parameters passed on the command line. A specific OID port can also be specified if required.

NOTE: This script is only suitable for OID 11g versions (11.1.1.x) for OID 10g versions please see Note 786959.1
