Internal Error WWWC-00006 / WWC-41417 Logging onto Portal With OAM (Post OAM-SSO Migration) (Doc ID 1295381.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2022

Applies to:

Portal - Version to [Release FMW11g]
Oracle Access Manager - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The following configuration was in-place when this issue was found:
- Starting from FMw - Portal working with SSO
- Upgrade to FMw - Portal working with SSO
- Migrated OSSO to OAM
- OSSO-OAM was working: tested both Webgate and mod_osso.

Trying to login onto Portal with OAM in-place the following error is shown within the browser:

internal error (WWC-00006)
Unexpected error encountered in wwsec_app_priv.process_signon (User-Defined Exception) (WWC-41417)
or also
"internal error (WWC-00006)
Unexpected error encountered in wwsec_app_priv.process_signon (User-Defined Exception) (WWC-41417)
An exception is raised when accessing the Oracle Internet Directory: 32: No such object
Operation: dbms_ldap.search_s
Entry DN: dc=example,dc=com
Attribute names: orclguid
: orclguid
Search scope: Sub-tree
Search filter: (|(orclguid=<GUID>)(orclguid=<GUID>)(orclguid=<GUID>)(orclguid=<GUID>)(orclguid=<GUID>)). (WWC-41743)"

You can also see the same error stack if your OSSO-SUBSCRIBER-DN  is correct, but when you have also added other parameters in this same section.
For example adding  OSSO-SUBSCRIBER  set to own company name.  This only caused issues with orcladmin user login, and when trying to refresh oid cache parameters

Migrated OSSO to OAM
