odiRef.getObjectName / snpRef.getObjectName Return Truncated Table Names After Upgrade To ODI 11g (Doc ID 1296050.1)

Symptoms

After an upgrade to ODI 11g, the call to odiRef.getObjectName / snpRef.getObjectName gives incorrect results as it truncates the resulting name to the MaxTableNameLength value (e.g. to 30 characters for technology Oracle).

This problem only affects users who upgraded from ODI 10g to 11g. But still could be an issue if the 'New Practice' below is not taken in consideration in ODI 11g.

Changes

 Upgrade from Oracle Data Integrator 10g to 11g.
