Goal

Some of the classes used in a WebLogic Portal (WLP) 8.1 portal application are deprecated and can no longer be used in future WLP versions. The goal of this article is to address this issue and to document any alternative classes available in 9.x and later versions, that may help to fix errors or warnings related to deprecated classes.
