Symptoms
After switching to the use of Oracle Internet Directory (OID) for external authentication for ODI Studio connections from the default internal authentication, connection to ODI Console will not allow logins using the SUPERVISOR user.
ODI studio can connect to the Master Repository configured with external authentication, against for example Microsoft Active Directory, but the JEE Agent fails with the following message:

Switch from
- the default internal authentication
to
- external authentication using an enterprise identity store (such as Oracle Internet Directory , OpenLDAP) configured for each Oracle Data Integrator Studio component to refer to it.
