If you are using a spoof FTP (which behaves similar to VAN for directory listing and is not a VAN) server, which is
claimed to be a FTP service under VAN. And you are using B2B FTP adapter to copy the files across and you witness the below behaviors:
Fact/Assumption: The directory that you connect to is the root directory “/” and the files that need to copy over using FTP are available in the root directory.
The problem: You will notice in the transport log file that B2B FTP adapter does not bring the file listing when the URL is set to “/” or “ ” as per documentation.
Observations when tried FTP commands on the command prompt no B2B involved :
1. When only “ls” was issued we get file listing.
Observations in the transport log when B2B was set up to pool the FTP server:
1. When only “/” was set as the url you will not get file listing.
2. When only “ ” was set as the url you will not get file listing.
If you are facing the above behavior, then you can follow this not to resolve the issue.
