Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 11g Server diagnostic log entries can be key to finding the cause of a problem with OAM 11g implementations. By default OAM 11g Server is configured to log at NOTIFICATION level, which provides some useful processing information.

However there may be occasions when you wish to configure a higher logging level in order to obtain more information about a problem. Oracle Support Services also commonly ask for trace level diagnostic logs so that problems can be analyzed.

This Note provides step by step instructions detailing how to enable OAM Server trace logging for version 11g.
