OAM 10g: "Database Validation Failed." For SQL Server Audit Database Setup (Doc ID 1298388.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 09, 2011

Applies to:

COREid Identity - Version: and later   [Release: and later ]
Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) - Version: 2008 R2

When attempting to create database instance for audit to Microsoft SQL Server, you received the "Database Validation Failed."  error.

The ODBC data source definition has already been created and the validation by SQL Server ODBC Data Source Test shows "Test Completed Successfully"

This is only seen on the 64-bit Windows setup. It works fine for other platforms.
