'Metabase login failed' Signaled When Attempting To Connect To A New Installation Of ODQ 11g On UNIX (Doc ID 1298893.1)

Symptoms

After having installed ODQ using Oracle Universal Installer (OUI), unable to connect using Admin credentials from client Metabase Manager to the server side installation of Oracle Data Quality (ODQ) 11g.

When doing so, the following message is signaled :

Metabase login failed.
No support for client application "Admin" version "12.0.1".

Changes

New installation of ODQ 11g (11.1.1.3.0.).
