ORA-01000 in the Fuego.Lib.Notification.Send() PAPI-block method

There is  a Global Automatic activity that notifies several instances using the method Notification.send(). When the number of instances (and queued notifications) reaches the number of maximum open cursors limit configured in the database it throws a SQLException with the code ORA-01000 (maximum open cursors exceeded). The error might look like:
