(Doc ID 1300409.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 16, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 10.3.4 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When using a web server plug-in with WebLogic Server 10.3.4 and higher, several problems have been reported if the WebLogic Plug-In Enabled property is unset or set to false. These problems include:
- When using an load balancer (e.g., the F5 Networks,Inc. BIG-IP) to load balance traffic, if the request comes in via SSL, it is redirected to HTTP during an HTTP 302 (redirect) request. The F5 BIG-IP is configured to use the WL-Proxy-SSL header and it is set to true.
- When the admin console is called using the proxy server URL, changes made to the system are not committed: the page is just refreshed.
- The getServerPort() method returns the wrong value when using SSL.
