UCM 11g "No space left on device" Error While Changing Settings in WLS Admin Console

UCM 11g is installed on a Unix based system.
Login to the WebLogic Server (WLS) and make a change in the the Domain Structure > Security Realms > myrealm > (make any change) > click Save.
An error is reported near the top of the page:
An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.
[Management:141191]The prepare phase of the configuration update failed with an exception:
No space left on device
The UCM and WLS are installed on a mount.
Running the disk free command, human readable: df -h
This indicates the mount has free space.
