How To Configure the Content Server for an Oracle RAC (Doc ID 1301563.1)

Goal

By default the Content Server will be configured to a single database server. This "How To" note will explain how to Configure the Content Server to connect to an Oracle RAC.

Note: The following procedure applies only to Content Server 10g. In Webcenter Content 11g, the JDBC connection is handled by Weblogic through the CSDS data source.

However, if Java applications that run outside of the WCC, such as Batchloader and ComponentTool (refer to KM 1338090.1 and 1268147.1), or if the User Admin Applets are run outside of the WCC, then these procedures are applicable.
