Symptoms

This note adresses a problem associated to the JAR resources deployed in Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
Sometimes  when we you try to do any change or when trying explode a JAR resource you get an error saying  "Resource <jarfile_name> not found"

You could also see this error message in the log:

com.bea.wli.config.component.NotFoundException: Failed to create temporary jar file
at com.bea.wli.sb.resources.archive.classloader.ArchiveClassLoaderDerivedTypeDef.computeData(ArchiveClassLoaderDerivedTypeDef.java:160)

Caused By: com.bea.wli.sb.stages.StageException: com.bea.wli.config.component.NotFoundException: Failed to create temporary jar file
at stages.transform.runtime.JavaCalloutRuntimeStep.(JavaCalloutRuntimeStep.java:122)

Caused By: com.bea.wli.sb.management.BrokerManagementException: com.bea.wli.sb.stages.StageException: com.bea.wli.config.component.NotFoundException: Failed to create temporary jar file
at com.bea.wli.sb.pipeline.RouterCompiler.getActionsRuntime(RouterCompiler.java:160)

You need to restart the complete environment when you see this problem, meaning the managed servers and the admin server. Just restarting the managed servers does not help. The problem is only solved after a restart of the admin server.

You have privileges to the temp folder, so this is not a 'privilege' problem.
