Last updated on MARCH 23, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An issue of com.bea.* MBean hierarchy missing in WebLogic 9.2 MP4 was reported. This was observed after migrating applications and upgrading the domains from earlier maintenance packs of 9.2 and previous versions to WebLogic 9.2 MP4. This com.bea.* MBean hierarchy was present in WebLogic 9.2 MP2, MP3 and other earlier releases.

This issue can be observed when the application uses com.bea.* MBeans or by enabling the management port with the following arguments, connecting to a WebLogic 9.2 MP4 domain using JRockit Mission Control Managed console, and going to MBeans tab. In the management console MBeans tab you can see that the com.bea hierarchy is missing. If you check the same for earlier versions you can see that it is present.
