BPEL 10.1.3.5.2: JMS/AQ Adapter Takes Three Second to Consume a Message Leading to Delays for BPEL Processes Started by a Dequeue Operation (Doc ID 1301955.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

SOA 10.1.3.5 MLR2

A BPEL process started by a dequeue operation from a queue (multi subscription) gets delayed. After enabling debugging, it is noticed that messages use a correlation set as part of the message properties:

<2011-02-21 17:00:38,862> <DEBUG> <default.collaxa.cube.activation> <AQ Adapter::Inbound> MessageReader_readMessage:CorrelationID = APPS

Also, the following Native Correlation exception is shown in the log file and the message is retried 5 times each 0.5 sec, which is causing a delay of 2.5 secs on each dequeue operation.

<2011-02-21 17:00:38,834> <DEBUG> <default.collaxa.cube.activation> <AQ Adapter::Inbound> MessageReader_readMessage: got message from RAW queue
INBOUND_PUBLISHER
<2011-02-21 17:00:42,198> <DEBUG> <default.collaxa.cube.activation> <AQ Adapter::Inbound> MessageReader_readMessage: got message from RAW queue
INBOUND_PUBLISHER

Currently, correlation is not in use and this property is being set to APPS as part of the E-Business backend.
