Symptoms

On SPARC Solaris with Sun JVM Hotspot client edition (-client) a cache server starts hanging after 20 to 30 seconds of normal operation.

A thread dump taken from the hang cache server shows a thread stack trace like this:

"[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '4' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'" daemon prio=3 tid=0x028f3c00 nid=0x61 in Object.wait() [0xf54fe000..0xf54ffc40]
