Symptoms

Running the Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g copyConfig script to clone a java deployment fails with the following errors:

copyConfig.sh -javaHome $JDK_HOME -al /windows/D/downloads/wls_clone.jar -smw $MW_HOME -sdl $DOMAIN_HOME -dhn localhost -dpn 7001 -dau weblogic -dap ~/bin/dap.txt

Script terminates>> SEVERE : Mar 4, 2011 11:47:44 AM - ERROR - CLONE-20218 Cloning is not successful.
SEVERE : Mar 4, 2011 11:47:44 AM - CAUSE - CLONE-20218 An internal operation failed.
SEVERE : Mar 4, 2011 11:47:44 AM - ACTION - CLONE-20218 Provide the clone log and error file for investigation.
INFO : Mar 4, 2011 11:47:44 AM - CLONE-21223 Deleting half-created archive file
